Annual Penguin Plunge February each year, 12:00pm Each year, raising money for the Special Olympics. Over $1 million in the past six years, "Plungers" dawn their costumes in the middle of the winter, and "Plunge" into the freezing cold water of the Atlantic Ocean. Each year has a different theme for the costumes. Initially only 150 Plungers participated, now the Penguin Plunge draws over 800 Plungers. Fun to watch, and a great way to get out for the day.
